Officer of Operations and Patient Relations Specialist
I knew at an early age I was going to be working in the dental field. After graduating from high school, I started my dental assisting career by attending Florida College of Medical and Dental Assistants, and earned a High Achievement Award and Perfect Attendance. I have been at Beaches Dentistry for more than 30 years. I have a special bond with our patients and love seeing them. Knowing that our patients are being taken care of with excellent care is what makes me content at work. My role at Beaches Dentistry revolves around everything that is needed to help our patients with their questions and making sure they are comfortable. I want to assure everyone I have all their queries answered, so that they are better prepared before and after they see our doctors and the rest of the team.
I am a native of Jacksonville, having grown up around the Beaches area and graduated from Fletcher. I have been married to my husband Danny for almost 30 years. We have three daughters, five grandchildren, and three cats. In our free time, we like to boat, fish, camp, and spend time with family and friends.
Patient Communications Specialist and Treatment Coordinator
I enjoy helping patients brighten their smile and get them comfortable during their time with us at Beaches Dentistry. I have been around dentistry for almost two decades. After attending FSCJ for my Bachelor's I started working with pediatric dentistry. At Beaches Dentistry, I am learning to serve as a treatment coordinator, and patient relations specialist. I help patients with appointment scheduling, treatment plans, insurance questions, co-ordinating financials and more. My goal is to make the non-clinical aspects of our office flow as smooth and easy as possible so our doctors can concentrate on patient procedures and treatment.
I am married to my amazing husband, Corey and have two very loving children. I have two fur babies as well and they are English bulldogs. And yes, I am a big Georgia Bulldog Fan - Go Dawgs !!! When I have free time I enjoy live music and good food.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I earned my Associate of Science in dental hygiene in 1987, and have been a Beaches Dentistry team member since 1994. As a hygienist, I am responsible for all aspects of my patients’ oral hygiene care. I also help patients schedule their appointments and place courtesy phone calls to remind them to come in to see us. I enjoy maintaining the oral and periodontal health of my patients. I love to work with them closely to help educate, encourage, and motivate them to achieve optimum oral health.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and traveling. I am very passionate about enjoying an active lifestyle and love to bike, swim, and practice yoga. I am very adventurous when it comes to experimenting with healthy foods and trying new restaurants — seafood is my favorite! I also enjoy learning and studying about diversity, culture, and art.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I graduated with my Associate of Science in dental hygiene from Florida Community College at Jacksonville in 1990, but I’ve been around dentistry my whole life since my Dad was a dentist! I knew from an early age I wanted to be a dental hygienist. I consider myself my patients’ “brushing and flossing coach,” and act as a liaison between patient and dentist regarding overall dental care. I love working with our patients, developing relationships with them, and ultimately improving their oral health. I love when they tell me they look forward to our visits together!
My husband Jimmy and I celebrated 25 years of marriage in 2019. We have twin daughters, two pups, and three grandpups. We love to boat, fish, and spend time with family and friends whenever possible.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I attended UNF in Jax and Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville. For about 13 years I worked as a hygienist in a pediatric practice. At Beaches Dentistry I enjoy caring for patients of all ages. I enjoy seeing our patients, talking to them and get to know them personally. It gives me great satisfaction to help them achieve and maintain a beautiful healthy smile.
I moved from Pennsylvania to Jax when I was a teenager. I love living at the beach and enjoying all our city has to offer. Besides spending time with my family and friends, I love traveling, eating at new restaurants, cheering on the Jags and frequenting the beach.
I attended Santa Fe College in Gainesville for dental assisting and graduated in 2009 as an expanded functions dental assistant. I assist Dr. Nodesh with patient procedures and do all that is required to provide outstanding care for our patients. The best part of my job is meeting new people and developing relationships with my patients. It is always heartwarming when you can be by the patient’s side during their journey to transform their smile, which transforms their life.
I moved to Florida in 2009 to be with my now-husband, Eric. We have been married for a couple of years and have two Miniature Longhair Dachshunds - Huckleberry and Finn, who we absolutely love like our kids. In our spare time, my husband and I like to travel and spend time in the great outdoors: Camping, hiking, or any type of water activities. I also love to cook and use it as my escape.
Dental & Orthodontic Assistant
I was born in Puerto Rico and have lived up and down the east coast of America. I have also spent time in the Virgin Islands and Japan. Visiting different places and interacting with a diverse population, has molded me into my current self. In addition to English I am well versed in Spanish.
I have been a doctor's assistant for almost a decade and have worked in pediatrics, orthodontics and with adults. My favorite part is to witness the end result of a healthy and beautiful 'SMILE' which is a result of hard work, time and love. I have been happy to be a part of Beaches Dentistry and help both Dr. Nodesh and Dr. Raina achieve the best results for their patients. Our team here puts in their best in providing excellent patient care and comfort and that is why I love working here. My goal is to assist the doctors, provide a smooth workflow and make sure our patient's have a great experience at our office.
I have a feline baby named Marie. She enjoys early morning meditation by my side and taking naps. I am very electic and from hobbies to music, I am full of surprises. In my free time when I am not in a car or a plane, I love doing crafts and reading mystery novels. Let me know if you can recommend me a good read.
Official 'Smile Mascot'
Born in Puerto Rico, adopted from Humane Society in Naples and raised in Fort Myers; This Border Collie mutt is happy to call Jacksonville his furever home.
He loves to play tug and absolutely begs to wear his bow ties. Being a 21st-century dog, he is a natural with the camera :) and demands a new toy every time a package arrives at the door. The only child to his parents who are dental specialists, he knows the importance of getting his teeth brushed daily, so he can go on to enjoy his chew toys and eat his chicken for years to come. During your visit to Beaches Dentistry you may run into him in the parking lot, spreading the “Joy.”
